This is a set of 2 medium and 2 large modular shelves in oak wood veneer, supplied as four separate boxes that you arrange rather than a fixed unit you position. Together they cover 168 cm by 76 cm, but the shape of that coverage is yours: a symmetrical block, a stepped run, an asymmetric arrangement with deliberate gaps between the modules. Mixing two sizes is what stops a modular wall looking like a grid, because the different widths break the rhythm and give the composition somewhere for the eye to rest.

The oak wood veneer keeps the modules light enough to handle during installation whilst holding a flat face across the wider spans, which solid boards of the same size would struggle to do without movement. Each box is open at the front, so this is display storage: books, records, a few objects, the things you are happy to see. The set is an exclusive design created by the Kave Home team and can be combined with the other modules from the collection if the wall later needs more.

Installing a Modular Shelving Composition

Two practical points decide how the set goes up. The metal brackets included attach the modules to each other and to the wall, so the whole arrangement acts as one structure rather than four stacked boxes, and the wall fixings carry a real share of the load. Feet are not supplied: a set of five feet is required for every module that rests on the floor, so count your ground-level boxes before ordering. Modules that sit above floor level need no feet at all, which is what allows a run to float clear of the skirting.

Plan the layout on the floor first and mark the wall before drilling, since the brackets leave little room to adjust once the first module is fixed. Check what your wall is made of; masonry takes a standard plug, whilst plasterboard needs anchors rated for the loaded weight, and a full oak veneer shelving module is heavier than the empty box suggests. Afterwards, dust with a dry cloth and wipe spills promptly, drying immediately, because standing water is what lifts a veneer at an edge.
