Built for damp rooms, and hung in minutes
Teak is genuinely resistant to moisture, which is why it has long been used for boat decks and shower benches. The timber contains natural oils and a dense grain that slow the movement of water into the wood, so the frame does not swell, warp or lift the way many hardwoods do in a steamy bathroom. That is the practical reason a wooden mirror can be hung where you might otherwise expect metal or plastic.
Because the frame is a solid, natural material, every mirror is unique: the grains and shades belong to the particular boards it was made from and cannot be repeated. On the back there is a hook for easy wall hanging, so fitting means choosing the right fixing for your wall and levelling the frame. The design is available in more sizes, which makes it possible to pair a larger mirror over a basin with a smaller one elsewhere in the same finish.
