Embrace the Tall Solid Oak Ladder Shelf

At 193 cm high and only 60 cm wide, this solid oak ladder shelf takes up roughly half a square metre of floor and returns several shelves of usable space, which is the trade every small room wants. Narrow, tall storage also draws the eye upward and makes a low-ceilinged room feel taller than it measures. The frame is solid oak in a natural finish, treated with a brushed effect that opens the grain slightly so the wood shows its figure instead of reflecting the light back flat.

Because it is open on all sides, nothing is hidden and nothing is trapped, so this suits things you use rather than things you store: a few plants, a stack of bowls, a run of books arranged by height. Fitting a Narrow Shelf into a Small Room
