Embrace a tall, narrow mirror for tight walls

The 158 x 61 cm format is deliberately slim. It fits the wall spaces most mirrors cannot use: the panel between two doors, the return beside a chimney breast, the strip of wall at the end of a corridor. Because the reflection is nearly full height but only 61 cm wide, it lengthens a room vertically without visually swallowing the wall it sits on. The frame is teak wood, worked with the restraint that defines the collection so that the timber, not the profile, is what registers.

Teak earns its place in a bathroom, a bedroom or an entrance hall for the same reason it is used on boats: its natural oils make it stable and slow to react to changes in moisture. Over time a teak mirror deepens in colour rather than fading, and since each frame is cut from solid wood, the grain running along its length belongs to that piece alone.
